On Tuesday June 9th the St. Paul Commanding Edge rallied for 5 runs in the top of the 7th Inning to erase a 4-1 deficit to earn a 6-4 victory over the Cavaliers.  The Commanding Edge is made up of St. Thomas University Players who won the Division 3 National Championship. 

 

Wednesday June 10th traveled to Marshfield and came away with 4-1 nonleague win.  Ben Kincaid went 3-5 with three RBI’s and fellow Eau Claire Memorial Grad Brady Sand pitched a complete game.  Sand allowed one run on seven hits in nine innings for the Cavaliers (9-9), who have a pair of Wisconsin State League road doubleheaders against Sheboygan this weekend. 

On Saturday the Cavaliers split a doubleheader with Sheboygan in Wisconsin State League play. Brad Archambeau went 4-for-5 scoring four runs and had an RBI as the Cavaliers beat the Sheboygan A’s 11-3 in the second game of a Wisconsin State League doubleheader in Sheboygan. Ryan Iverson hit a three run home run in the seventh inning to ice the victory for Eau Claire.  Tyler Martin was the winning pitcher. 

 

Ben Kincaid went 3-for-4 with an RBI in the opener, a 13-9 victory for Sheboygan. 

Ty Fadness went 3-for-4 and drove in three runs to lead the Eau Claire Cavaliers past Sheboygan A’s, in the second game of a doubleheader in Sheboygan on Sunday. 

The Cavaliers dropped the opener, 4-0, as Sheboygan’s Ryan Schmitz tossed a complete game and allowed only two hits. 

 

Phil Issaksson earned the win in game two striking out seven and walking one in a complete game victory.  Ben Kincaid went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Brady Sand had a run scoring double for the Cavaliers (11-11,6-6), who play the Chippewa Lumberjacks on Wednesday night in Chippewa Falls at Casper Park and it is Leinenkugels night starting at 7:30. 

 

Thursday the Cavaliers return home for a 7:30 single game with the Rochester Royals and it is Chippewa Valley Sports Car Club Night and WYSP Night.   Friday the Cavaliers entertain the Rochester Blues in a single game.   Saturday the Cavaliers have a single game with the LaCrosse A’s which is changed from a doubleheader.  Sunday the Cavaliers travel to Exeland to face the Exeland Braves for a 12:00 Single game, which was changed from a 1:30 start time.   Please check our web site for any changes in the schedule.
